Our Mt KK feat

Recently we talked about the Mt KK climb and some gutsy ladies decided to go climb.

12 of us signed up but finally only 10 spunky ladies went. Of these 8 are single moms and two represented the single parents. This climb was totally self funded by the ladies. We bought and borrowed climbing gear and paid our way there mostly by ourselves. The least that we had done was to raise RM200,000 scholarship fund for children from single parents families.
Please get the scholarship forms from me if you know of any children who meet the criteria for the fund.

Do add more photos at the link if you have other photos that were taken during the climb. (Ladies Mountain Climbing achievers)

We had a fairly challenging climb but worthwhile experience. I would certainly go again.

Child Sexual Abuse Awareness and Prevention Talk

Things you thought you knew. These are some comments from past participants.

Winston: Hi Deborah, I was glad to have attended the seminar. As a parent, Sunday School teacher and preschool franchisee/principal all rolled into one, I have found the session informative and thought provoking. It has certainly achieved its objective of creating awareness on this subject. Regards Winston.

Stella: I find the talk light and pleasant. It is educational and has helpful content. I would certainly recommend the talk to everyone, especially teachers and parents.

Rachel: Thanks so much for inviting me to the talk. The information given had certainly created a lot of awareness of what is happening to these poor children. It makes me realize that we have a role to play and be responsible for children out there. Thanks again for the wonderful talk and I will certainly help to spread this information to more people out there.

Lim Siew Ling: The talk was educational and informative. First time attending such a talk. It's an eye opener for me. I am more aware that it is happening here at our doorsteps. I particularly learned about the 'signs of child sexual abuse'.

Angela Austin: Hi Deborah, it is definitely an informative and educational session which is aimed at creating awareness and adult's responsibility. I would encourage my friends to attend. Thanks.

Did you know that consensual sex between teenagers can get them jailed?
